A Travellerspoint blog

Salta would be my last big town before leaving Argentina. I stayed with Tony and the Canadian family in a quiet hostel near the centre. Suz met us there. We took a gondela up a hill on the edge of town, I ate empanadas, which was nice. We went horseriding with some "gauchos". Walked about a bit, bot much else really.

In salta you can really feel the aproaching bolivian, more indigenous influence. This basically means that everything is more dirty!! Well i guess that isnt all. But the people look alot more indian . . . Change is good i suppose.
