Crossing the Border

Crossing the boarder from Argentina to Bolivia was the least official thing i have ever done. you stand in a "queue", although this descends into mayhem as South Americans just dont understand queing - God save The Queen. You pass a couple of people who look at stuff and stamp stuff, then walk across a bridge and you in Bolivia. There is absolutely nothing stopping you walking straight across the border without any formality, and the locals seem to make use of this fact. First Impressions of Bolivia - untidy, next question . . . .
Argentina, the land of wine, steak, and Beautiful Girls was fun. Walking in the lake distict was definately the high point. A future trip will definately include going further south and climbing a few mountains. People who go to antartica say it is the best thing they have ever done. Maybe another time.
